From the outskirts of Bordeaux in the north down to Saint Maixant in the south, these vineyards follow the meanders of the Garonne river, covering a band of the finest soils around 60 kilometres long and up to 5 kilometres wide.

All Côtes de Bordeaux Cadillac wines are red and are made predominantly from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with a permitted addition of Malbec, Petit Verdot and even Carmenère. Merlot is the main variety, producing wines which are supple, yet approachable at an early age.

Clay and Gravel. Cold maceration to extract the fruit aromas. Traditional vatting in thermo regulated tanks for between 18 - 25 days. Final maceration and malolactic fermentation to soften the wine. Aged in French and American oak barrels for 8 months.
