Neglected for decades in France as a lesser blending grape, Malbec was resurrected and championed in Argentina as an excellent single varietal wine. The Catena Family is regarded as one of the outstanding and historic houses in Argentina. Catena was founded when Nicola Catena travelled from famine-stricken Italy to Argentina in 1898, and believed that he had found the promised land in Mendoza, where he planted his first Malbec vineyard in 1902. Today his grandson Nicolas and great-granddaughter Laura have transformed the face of Argentine wine.
Join us for this unique experience as Marcelo guides us through a tasting of eight incredible wines.
