Angove AMV - X Tempranillo Mataro Grenache 2018 (McLaren Vale, South Australia) "...cherries, raspberries, spice notes..."
Sourced from carefully selected vineyards within McLaren Vale. The Tempranillo is from a vineyard on the outskirts of the small town of Willunga, while the Mataro grows in the far southern sub-region of Sellicks Foothills. The Grenache comes from Blewitt Springs with its sandy soils.
Wines from this vintage are lively, aromatic and vibrant with delicious dark berry flavours and spice, finishing with resounding length and delicacy.
The aim was to produce a vibrant red wine with inspiration coming from the great red wines of the Rioja region of Spain.
"Crimson purple in colour. Blueberries, cherries and raspberry with hints of spice. A medium bodied red blend bursting with layers of bright red berry fruit flavour and seductive tannins. A wine of poise, vibrancy and drinkability." - Winery Notes
