de Perriere Sparkling Rose NV (Burgundy, France) "...cherry, apple, peach..."
The Burgundy based De Perriere is owned by Boisset, a family-owned company ranked amongst the largest five wine producers in France. This top producer has been making sparkling wines in the methode traditionelle in Burgundy since 1920, at its winery in Charnay-Les-Macon. It was one of the very first houses in the Maconnais to produce Cremant de Bourgogne, thanks to its years of experience and in-depth understanding of the vinification of the Chardonnay grapes grown on the estate. The elegant, salmon-pink Dry Rose is also methode traditionelle, with beautiful cherry, apple and buttery pineapple flavors on the nose and complex raspberry, peach, and vanilla notes on the palate.
