"Shoffit becomes one of the newest stars of Alsace" - so wrote Robert Parker in the magazine "Wine Advocate" a brilliant winemaker Bernard Shoffite, had inherited from his father - Robert Shoffita - estate Domaine Schoffit. Robert owned 10 hectares of vineyards located in Hart, near the town of Colmar in Alsace. Historically, this part of the region has always been famous for its agricultural farms. On this beautiful site with alluvial soils planted with old vines, whose average age is 60 to 80 years.
