Les Graviers is one of the best Pinot Noir vineyards to be found lying just outside the bounds of village Chambolle-Musigny. Frederic's vines are nearly 40 years old, producing a wine of deep, earthy, dark character, with an underlying structure of tannin and acidity that is consumately Burgundian.
"Cool, red-fruit flavors and smooth tannins; a selection of fruit from vineyards with very stony soils (‘Graviers’ means gravel) means Pinot Noir here comes with a refined, mineral edge." - North Berkley Wine
