Lake Breeze Bullant Cabernet Merlot 2017 (Langhorne Creek, South Australia) "...rich, blackberry, mocha..."
Lake Breeze is one of Australia's most awarded boutique wineries, including being named Australia's Champion Small Winery. The Follett family have been grape growers in Langhorne Creek for over 120 years and winemakers for 24 years and have rapidly built an enviable reputation for consistently producing outstanding wines.
Full-bodied, fruity and silky smooth, Lake Breeze Wine's Bullant Cabernet Merlot is a huge bargain for the quality.
Made from grapes from the famed Langhorne Creek wine region, this is a deliciously easy drinking wine that would go fabulously with roast lamb.
With 15 months spent in oak, there is plenty of room for the Bullant to mature over the next three or four years if you can resist the temptation to drink it now. Or, since it is such a steal, get your hands on a couple and drink one now and one later.
"The grapes for this wine were selected from old vines in the famous wine district of Langhorne Creek. It has an amazing lifted bouquet of blackberries with a touch of mocha. The ageing in oak for 15 months has enhanced the mouth-feel of this wine, which is rich and smooth, and offers a lovely soft finish with polished tannins. Best consumed over the next 5-6 years and will drink even more dangerously paired with roast lamb."
