Peos Estate Four Aces Pinot Noir 2019 (Manjimup, Western Australia) "...ripe cherry, rhubarb, raspberry..."
This range of wines is named after the four magnificent Karri trees, which are nearly 75 meters tall and over 400 years old and are located down the road from our winery in Manjimup. The Karri tree is one of the largest living things on our planet. One tree can weigh over 200 tonnes, grow to 90m in height, take nine people holding hands to span its girth, and do it all in 400 years. Nestled amongst the tranquil tall timbers the Peos vineyard's gravelly soil is ideally suited to crafting premium wines, and with the Peos family having tilled those soils for over half a century we believe this is a fitting moniker for flagship range.
"There's plenty of drinking pleasure to be had with this spot-on, ready now wine. Full of ripe cherries, rhubarb and raspberries sprinkled with baking spices. The unobtrusive oak adds some depth, and plush tannins are gentle across the fuller-bodied palate with tangy, sweet fruit to close."- 95 Points, James Halliday
