The 2021 Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is from from three vineyards: Harriet’s Vineyard, Boat O’Craigo and Willowlake. It is aromatic and textured from a beautiful, slow ripening vintage - it will not dissappoint!
After 10 years as winemaker for esteemed Mount Mary vineyard and then Kellybrook for 3 years. Rob Hall has been making wine solo in his native Yarra Valley since 2014. Rob sources his premium fruit from three separate vineyards around the Yarra Valley, all chosen for their distinct characteristics which you can see in the concentration of flavour’s in his wines.
"'Pinot Noir from three vineyards went into this wine in 2021, Harriet’s Vineyard, Boat O’Craigo and Willowlake. 2021 was a beautiful vintage in the Yarra, slow ripening, resulting in lovely aromatics. Extended time on skins has built some lovely texture. The resulting wine has aromas of sour cherry, rhubarb and strawberry, with hints of herb and spice from the wholebunch batches. The palate is well balanced, with moreish acidity, a dry and savoury finish, with some well matured tannin from the extended maceration." - Rob Hall, Winemaker
