"The aromas are more savoury, citrus dominant than previous years soft stonefruit regime. They’re still there, but not as lush. Fig, almond and tobacco complement the fruit aromas. A firmly textured chardonnay, with fine grip and savoury characteristics. The oak treatment is sound and doesn’t interfere. Whilst there is still energy and class, this feels quiet and reserved…almost introverted."
"This estate chardonnay seems to be finer, a tad more complex and almost tighter than previous incarnations. It certainly has an amalgam of flavours, but is more citrus-toned and spiced with ginger. There's really fine, tangy acidity throughout and nothing is out of place." - 94 Points, James Halliday
