Hawke's Bay's climate is warm and dry, moderated by proximity to the sea and sheltered from the inclement weather (generally from the west) by the west coast and the mountains and hills of the central plateau in the center of the island.

The warm, dry summers and long autumns experienced in Hawke's Bay are excellent for viticulture and the maritime climate means that the warmth brought about by long sunshine hours is moderated by the Pacific Ocean.

"A delicate, pale straw green colour. This appealing chardonnay shows ripe stone fruit, rockmelon, vanilla and toasted almond notes. The palate is elegantly weighted and rounded and delivers bright fruit intensity backed by creamy texture and well-pitched acidity, finishing long and smooth." - Winery Notes
