Vecchie Terre di Montefili Bruno di Rocca 2015 (Tuscany, Italy) "...cherries, tobacco, mocha..."
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese that is unique and recognizable because it fully expresses the Montefili environment. Thanks to this vineyard’s old vines and its aging in small wood, it unleashes structure and softness with great complexity, without sacrificing the freshness given by the altitude and the galestro soil.
"The 2015 Bruno di Rocca is the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon/Sangiovese blend. Black cherry tobacco, mocha, leather spice and grilled herbs are some of the notes that infuse this powerful, broad red with considerable character. There is certainly no shortage of depth or concentration." - Antonio Galloni
