Hofer Family Wines was officially established in the year 2017. Owner and winemaker Marcus Hofer together with assistant winemaker David Sinclair has been producing high quality, small batch modern style wines for more than 5 years. These unique wines are created using a combination of both old world and new winemaking techniques. The team also ensures minimal handling and the use of mild oak to produce interesting varietals and blends.
"Brilliant ruby colour is followed by an intense nose of goji berries, wild raspberries, licorice and dark chocolate. A textural palate follows with soft tannins throughout adding depth to the dark fruit and mocha characters. Spicy licorice lingering. Great with a roast and vegetables."
