Hofer Family Wines was officially established in the year 2017. Owner and winemaker Marcus Hofer together with assistant winemaker David Sinclair has been producing high quality, small batch wines for more than 5 years. These unique wines are created using a combination of both old world and new winemaking techniques. The team also ensures minimal handling and the use of mild oak to produce interesting varietals and blends.
"Brightly coloured, the wine is juicy, bordering on plush, the fruit not threatened by tannins. A mix of sour and morello cherries does well on the palate. A useful wine at this price."
