Mt Bera Vineyards is quite blessed when it comes to producing Pinot Noir wines because our vineyards have a majestic balance of sun, coolness and water.
A parcel of this fruit has been processed at Penfolds Magill Estate for the Cellar Reserve Pinot Noir since the first vintage in 1999.
Since then they have planted 2 additional clones of Pinot Noir in the Amphitheatre, and grafted a section of MV6 to D5V12. Each Pinot clone has different characteristics as well as the site variations – all aimed at adding complexity to their range of Pinot Noir wines.
Mt Bera Vineyards produces high quality single-vineyard estate grown wines. Their focus is on biological and regenerative practices and are a family-run business. They have a large range of reds and whites, with something to please everybody’s taste buds! From the beautiful Adelaide Hills between Cudlee Creek and Gumeracha.
If you are a Pinophile, you must add this to your bucket list of Pinot Noir to try in your lifetime!
"Crunchy red fruit notes on the nose mask a more serious earthy, gamey, savoury flavour set in the mouth. This is a pinot drinker's pinot - all hints & whispers, whiffs & tinges. Nothing you can put your finger on but oodles going on."
